EUREKA - Eureka High School’s student council has set a goal of $100,000 to help Julie Locke accumulate $1.7M to fund St. Jude’s Hospital for one day. Named HOPE week, the effort combines collections from School District 140, Eureka College, Jacob’s Ladder Child Care and others to benefit St. Judes through the Dax Locke Foundation.

There are many ways to donate to the effort. Items or gift certificates are being collected for the school-wide silent auction. Cash donations of various sizes are accepted. Businesses that donate at least $100 will be advertised as a court sponsor in the 2nd Annual 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament. Those who donate $500 will have their logo printed on the 3-on-3 tourney t-shirts. Every penny collected will go directly to St. Jude.
