EUREKA –The Heart of Illinois Wind Quintet will perform a free concert at 7:30 PM, Tuesday, March 4 in McCallister Hall in the Chapel at Eureka College.  

The program will include “Wind Quintet No. 1” by Michael Kibbe; “Twelve Variations on ‘Ah Vous Dirai-Je, Maman’” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart; “Le Basque” by Marin Marais; “Quintet Op. 16” by Ludwig van Beethoven, featuring piano soloist Myrna Bietz; “Second Little Serious Piece” by Silvestre Revueltas; and “Dance Suite” by Paul Valjean.

Quintet members are Grant Gillett, bassoon; Nancy Gillett, oboe; Sherill Diepenbrock, clarinet; Randi Lancaster, flute; and Phillip Lancaster, horn.
