To the relief of travelers on the state’s highways, the top speed limit will soon be 70 mph. Drivers are warned, however, that the speed limit for any stretch of highway is whatever is on the sign. It will take awhile for the 65 mph signs to be replaced, and until they are, the speed limit will not change. The new speed limit is joined by over 200 new laws and regulations, most of which will be invisible to the ordinary citizen. (See related article below.)
