EUREKA – Ruth Moser will demonstrate savory cooking at 6:30 PM on Thursday, January 23 at the Walnut Crest Condo Community Room, 514 W. Cruger in Eureka. She will be making stock from beef bones. With the stock, participants will enjoy learning how to make a mushroom barley soup, an Esau red lentil soup, and a broccoli toasted almond soup. Class fee is $8. Register and pay the fee at the Eureka Public Library, 202 S. Main, by January 18. For more information, call the library at 309-467-2922.
