EUREKA – The sudden destruction of our neighbors’ homes in Washington and the prevalence of tornadoes in our area forces us to consider whether we are adequately prepared and covered for a disaster. At 6:30 PM on Thursday, January 9 at the Eureka Public Library, 202 S. Main, Mark Scott, Country Companies, Chris Neff, Farmers Insurance, and Duane Schroeder, State Farm, will provide their experiences in dealing with the aftermath of disasters and give informational tips on what you can do now to be better prepared to recover your losses should disaster strike your home or family in the future. This event is free. Space is limited; register by January 7 by calling 309-467-2922.
