EUREKA - The winner of the American Girl Doll Raffle is Catherine Ott of Jacksonville. The contest was held by the Woodford County Neighborhood Group of the American Sewing Guild. “Rebecca,” an American Girl doll was purchased, and a suitcase of clothes were sewn and donated by members of the group. The funds raised will be used to encourage non-sewers to begin sewing.

Catherine Ott is the young daughter of Anita Donoho Ott. Catherine’s grandmother is Marilyn Donoho who has chaired the Make It With Wool Contest for many years.  

Karen Fyke, chairman of the Woodford County Sewing Guild, said, “We are gratified that so many people bought tickets for the raffle, and we are especially happy that the winner was a child.”
