EUREKA - Time for Fall decorations! Come to the Eureka Public Library, 202 S. Main, at 6:30 PM on Monday, October 7 to learn how to knit and felt pumpkins. Knitting instructor Mary McSweeney will teach the process during this three-session class scheduled for 6:30 PM on October 7, 14, and 21. Class fee is $20. Participants need to bring at least 200 yards of orange worsted weight wool, size 10.5 or 11 needles, size 10.5 or 11 double-pointed needles, and a yarn needle. If you want an extra large pumpkin, bring bulky wool and size 13 or 15 needles. Register and pay class fee by October 3rd at the library. For more information, call the library at 309-467-2922.
