EUREKA - Calling all gardeners and crafters willing to share their passion and experience for collecting flowers and foliage for dried arrangements and crafts. At 6:30 PM on Tuesday, September 10 Woodford County Master Gardener Bunny Randall will host an attendee round table discussion at the Eureka Public Library, 202 S. Main, on the various methods used for drying flowers and foliage. If you would like to learn how to dry flowers, join the conversation as they explore air-drying, pressing, drying flowers using desiccants, microwave oven drying, and preserving foliage with glycerin. Experienced participants are urged to bring samples to share. This class is free. Please contact the Eureka Public Library at 309-467-2922 by September 7 to register.
