Does the idea of “going camping” sound fun until you start to think about setting up a tent, sleeping on the ground, cooking all your meals outside, and trying to figure out how to keep the kids entertained while there? If so, we have a program for you! Join us September 20-22 for the brand new Family Camp program at 4-H Memorial Camp. We will take away all the stress of planning a camping adventure while allowing you and your family to enjoy a weekend together at camp.
Your family will sleep in a cabin, have meals provided, and enjoy many fun activities! Things to do include: rock climbing, hayrack rides, fishing, a professional storyteller, birds of prey program, arts and crafts, hikes in Allerton Park, and much more!
At least one child attending must be 8-16 years old and children must be accompanied by at least one parent or guardian. The fee for participants 8 years and up is $69/person while those under 8 are only $35/person.
Flier and registration forms can be found at http://web.extension.illinois.edu/4hmemorialcamp/specialtycamps.cfm .
