Seeking gardeners and crafters willing to share their passion and experience for collecting flowers and foliage for dried arrangements and crafts. Woodford County Master Gardener Bunny Randall will host an attendee round table discussion on the various methods used for drying flowers and foliage.
Join the conversation as we explore air-drying, pressing, drying flowers using desiccants, microwave oven-drying and preserving foliage with glycerin.
“Contemporary or country, dried arrangements add beauty to your home,” said Randall. This program will take place Tuesday, September 10 at 6:30 PM at the Eureka Public Library. This class is free to the public, but registration is required. Please call the library at (309) 467-2922 to register. And, don’t forget to bring examples to share.
