On Saturday, January 26, gliders sailed through the halls, honey was tasted from a real beehive, landfills were built and consumed, and rocks were made from gum drops.

These are just a few of the many learning opportunities available to Livingston, McLean, and Woodford 4-H members at Learn and Fun Day.  During the day 38 presenters, 46 volunteers, and 178 4-H members and friends filled Schroeder Hall at ISU with fun, laughter and learning.

The 4-H year began on September 1; however, youth ages 8-18 are invited to join 4-H at any time throughout the year. For more information about becoming a 4-H member or volunteer, please contact the University of Illinois Extension Office. In Livingston County, 815-842-1776; in McLean County, 309-663-8306 and in Woodford County, 309-467-3789. General information about the 4-H program in Illinois is available at http://web.extension.illinois.edu/state4h
