EUREKA - Want a fast and fun sewing project? Instructor Karen Fyke will be teaching how to make a cute and cuddly classic—the sock monkey—at the Eureka Public Library on Saturday, January 19th from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.!

None of it is hard, but without some initial guidance, the project can become a disaster . . . and another project that hits the trash can. The project will be hand sewn—so no need to drag your sewing machine to class. Class fee is $10. You can bring a pair of red-heeled work socks or purchase a pair from the instructor for an additional $7. Also bring a pair of sharp scissors and a thimble; all other materials will be provided. Registration and payment deadline (for both class and if needed, socks) is January 14th. Call the Library at 309-467-2922 for more information.
