EUREKA - At Canton on January 7, the Eureka High School Speech Team earned the Second Place Team Sweepstakes Trophy, along with 4 tournament champions and collected 16 medals.

Earning big points for the team were Thompson Zhuang (son of Rong Sheng & Cam Zhuang of Eureka)—1st place Tournament Champ Original Oratory, Caleb Graber—1st place Tournament Champ in Humorous Interpretation, Jamie Wiegand (daughter of Wayne & Rosemary Wiegand of Secor)—1st place Tournament Champ in Prose, and Constance Moushon—First Place Tournament Champ in Radio.
