Sgt. Wayne Lenover Retires from Eureka PD

EUREKA - Eureka Police Sergeant Wayne Lenover (right rear) reads a congratulatory card at the retirement reception for him at City Hall. Lenover’s career has spanned 36 years and includes myriad calls for service ranging from murders and bank robberies on one side of the spectrum to accidents, family disturbances, criminal investigations, juvenile problems, dog bites and untold requests for personal advice, guidance and assistance on the other. The much-respected lawman will be missed by citizens and suspects alike.
