The Burpee Museum’s newest exhibit showcases the largest shark ever found—the now-extinct Megalodon. It’s 60-foot length takes up much of the floor of an exhibit room (above); an adjacent shark of this era offers a comparison.
This prehistoric creature had a big bite (below, top). Cans of tuna represent how much the shark ate (below, middle), using very large teeth (below, bottom) as it dined. (News Bulletin photos)
