There are many definitions of impossible, but all have to do with being unable to accomplish a task. OK, there are probably some tasks some people are unable to accomplish, but is this because they have been conditioned to believe they can not accomplish them?
To a four-year-old, nothing is impossible, because they haven’t been conditioned to believe they are unable to do it. It is up to adults to make sure they are given a chance to do anything they can safely try.
Well, don’t be afraid. Really! Fear is a good thing. Fear is an emotional response to a perceived threat. Fear is one thing that helps keep you safe. If you’re afraid, you might think and be more careful.
Irrational fear, however, can also be a paralyzing force, leaving you with a feeling of hopelessness,
The difference may be in how you react to fear. You may react differently to different fears. You may face some of them head on. Others, you may not deal with as well, for any number of reasons. Some you can control, some you do control and some are out of control.
Many people fear the unknown, or something they have no experience with. Sometimes, people mistake their inexperience for an inability. Sometimes, people hide behind this feeling of inexperience and convince themselves they are not able. This perception of inability might be all it takes to make it a reality, and what a revoltin’ development that is!
