Susan set out to make a slow-cooker Swiss steak, but because she learned cooking from her mother, she ended up combining several recipes. Her family loved it.

2 lbs round steak (or Swiss steak) cut ¾” thick
flour to roll meat in
seasoned salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
1 large onion, thinly sliced
1 can cream-of-mushroom soup
½ C milk
½ t paprika
1 t garlic powder
½ C sour cream

Cut meat into serving-sized pieces. Roll each in flour. Season with salt and pepper. Add onions and sauté until onions are just tender.
Combine all ingredients except the sour cream in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Fifteen minutes before serving, add sour cream and blend.
Serve over hot, cooked noodles.
