Judson University will host its third World Leaders Forum on Friday, April 12  featuring former Prime Minister of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Tony Blair as the keynote speaker.

The World Leaders Forum will feature a VIP Reception with a keynote address and a Community Event.

Blair served as Prime Minister of Great Britain and Northern Ireland from May 1997 to June 2007. During his 10 years, Blair transformed Britain’s public services through a program of investment and reform in schools and hospitals.

Since leaving Downing Street, Mr. Blair has served as the Quartet representative to the Middle East, where he represents the United States, United Nations, Russia and the European Union to work with the Palestinians to prepare for statehood as part of the international community’s effort to secure peace.

He also has launched the Tony Blair Faith Foundation to promote respect and understanding of and between the major religions and to make the case for faith as a force for good in the modern world.

Blair's memoir, "A Journey: My Political Life" was released in September 2010 and made The New York Times Best Seller List within a week of its release.

At the VIP Event, former Prime Minister Blair will address "Leadership Insights: Faith, Power and the Post Modern World."

A moderated Q&A will follow the presentation. All attendees of the VIP event will receive an autographed book from the former Prime Minister.

VIP attendees and corporate sponsors will be have a photo opportunity with Blair and enjoy other benefits. Sponsorship opportunities are still available for the World Leaders Forum.

Forum leaders believe that this year’s event will continue to bring community, business and political leaders together through the Community Event, which has tickets available to the public.

At the Community Event, former Blair will give opening remarks followed by an extended, moderated Q&A.

“We are deeply excited for our third annual World Leaders Forum, especially the Community Event,” says Forum Committee Co-Chair Kevin Noe. “Last year, the Community Event sold out within a matter of days. This year we’ve made several accommodations to allow a larger audience to enjoy this unique opportunity.”

For security purposes, all details for the day's festivities, including venue locations and event times, will be released to attendees upon purchase of their tickets.
