EUREKA – Former Secretary of State James A. Baker III will be named an honorary Ronald Reagan Fellow at Eureka College in a ceremony March 28 at The Union League Club, New York City. A reception will begin at 6 p.m. followed by dinner and the ceremony.

ROCKFORD - The CEO of Vintage Sports Authentics, LLC, pleaded guilty in federal court in Rockford to charges of mail fraud. Steven Jensen, 40, of Osseo, Minn., admitted he schemed to market and sell fraudulent sports memorabilia represented as “game used,” or worn in an actual game.

NORMAL — For the first time since it opened on the Illinois State University campus in 1961, Hancock Stadium will undergo a major renovation.

Illinois State University’s Board of Trustees recently approved the $25 million Hancock Stadium capital project and the associated sale of bonds.
