METAMORA/EUREKA - The Four Seasons Gardening program, from University of Illinois Extension, continues with a session titled, Poisonous Plants. The program is offered twice—on September 29 at 1:00 p.m. at the Woodford County Extension office, Eureka and again on October 1 at 7:00 p.m. at Snyder Village, Metamora.
Participants will learn how to identify common Illinois poisonous plants in the landscape—in order to avoid them. The seminar features a color slide presentation accompanied by the voice of the instructor as people from all over the state participate. This is the second session of the fall series. The next program on Bonsai will be offered October 13 and 15. Cost per session is a suggested donation of $5. Advance registration is needed. Phone or email the Woodford U of I Extension office for more details, 309-467-3789,
