Bells In Motion set up

EUREKA - The Bells in Motion bell choir staff set up prior to a standing-room-only concert at Eureka Christian Church on Christmas Sunday evening. The Springfield-based choir featured a seven octave bell collection, two chime sets and a special collection of aluminum cast bells, which produce the lowest tones. (See the two large bells in the lower center.) The aluminum bells cost $5-7,000 each. The concert presented a wide range of Christmas music and the numbers were sometimes accompanied by flute, keybooard, organ, assorted rhythm instruments and drums. Musicians in the choir hailed from Wisconsin, Missouri, Iowa and Illinois., according to Carol Bennett-Barker, the church music director.
