Heart House 4 Meter Run/2 Meter Walk Steps Off April 19
EUREKA - Now called the “Eureka Race with Your Heart,” the former Eureka Spring Classic will be held again on Saturday, April 19, beginning at 9:30 AM. The two overall winners, one female and one male, will be awarded a gift certificate and an appropriate certificate. Medallions are awarded to the top five male and the top five female finishers in all 15 running divisions. All participants receive a commemorative T-shirt. The running categories are age-based, except for the “Clydesdale” and “Super Clydesdale” classes for persons weighing over 200 and 220 pounds. Sign-in will be held from 9:00-9:15 AM on the the day of the race at Eureka Lake Pavilion. There will be a post-race party featuring hot dogs and chips. Free massages are being offered by Eureka’s Healthy Arts Physical Therapy. Entrants registering before April 1 will only have to pay a .00 entry fee, while those after that date will pay a fee. The proceeds from the race and walk combination will go to the Heart House homeless shelter and domestic violence safe haven. The facility is located at 300 Reagan Drive, Eureka.
